Railway employers are legally obliged to ensure those personnel whose duties require them to work On or Near the Line and/or undertake Safety Critical Work are medically fit, which means staff must meet the required medical standards set by the railway industry.
As members of the Association of Railway Industry Occupational Health Practitioners, Railmed is fully conversant with the medical standards and the administrative requirements set by the rail industry, including Network Rail and London Underground.
Medicals can be carried out at one of our convenient medical centres in the Southeast or at the client's premises.
Medical certificates and associated documents are posted to the client / uploaded to the Sentinel database promptly.
